| Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation and calmness in which your subconscious mind is extremely receptive and open to positive thoughts, suggestions and learning. You are mentally alert, physically relaxed, very aware and in complete control during hypnotherapy. | ||
| While in the hypnotic state and guided by the hypnotherapist, positive suggestions and new ideas appropriate to you and your desired goals will be implanted into your subconscious mind. Through those positive suggestions you are able to alter limiting beliefs, negative habits and old behavior patterns by replacing them with affirmative and motivating thoughts and actions. Hypnosis is safe. It is very similar to experiencing a daydream. Don't believe the story plots…there is no such thing as being stuck in a trance; one always emerges from hypnosis, usually taking no more than 15 or 20 minutes. | ||

Not even the most excellent hypnotist can MAKE you lose weight or stop smoking if you really don't want to. There is no accurate prediction of how many sessions may be needed. While some people don't, most begin to experience the benefits from the very first session and are done in four to six sessions.
